Details about the upcoming Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold have surfaced online, just weeks before its official reveal. The foldable device will be announced at the Made by Google event on August 20, alongside the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, and Pixel 10 Pro XL.
The leaks give us a complete picture of the phone, covering its design, display, performance, software, camera setup, battery, AI features, and durability improvements.
Design and Display
The Pixel 10 Pro Fold comes with a premium look and build quality. Google has used aviation-grade aluminum for extra strength, and for the first time in a Pixel foldable, the device has an IP68 water-resistance rating. Buyers can expect two color options: Moonstone and Jade.
When folded, the phone measures 155.2 × 76.3 × 10.8 mm, and when unfolded, it expands to 155.2 × 150.4 × 5.2 mm. It weighs 258 grams and makes use of recycled materials, keeping in line with Google’s eco-friendly approach.
On the outside, it sports a 6.4-inch OLED Actua display with a resolution of 1080×2364 pixels and a density of 408ppi. The screen is impressively bright, peaking at 3,000 nits, which ensures great visibility even in direct sunlight. It also supports HDR and a 120Hz refresh rate for smooth scrolling and gaming.
The inner display is even more striking—an 8.0-inch OLED Super Actua Flex screen with a resolution of 2076×2152 pixels at 373ppi density. It offers the same HDR support, an adaptive 120Hz refresh rate, and up to 3,000 nits brightness, making it one of the brightest foldable displays on the market.
Performance and Features
Under the hood, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold is powered by the Google Tensor G5 processor. For security, it carries the Titan M2 chip, while 16GB LPDDR5X RAM ensures smooth multitasking. Storage options range from 256GB to 1TB, using the faster UFS 4.0 standard—a first for Pixel phones.
The device will ship with Android 16, and Google promises seven years of updates, including major features and security patches.
AI combination is a big highlight, with tools like Gemini Nano, Gemini Live, Call Assist, and Circle to Search baked into the system.
Connectivity options are top-notch, including WiFi 7, Bluetooth v6, NFC, UWB, GPS, and USB-C. It supports both nano SIM and eSIM. For audio, users get stereo speakers, multiple microphones, surround sound, and noise cancellation.
Camera and Battery
The Pixel 10 Pro Fold features a triple rear camera system. The main sensor is a 48MP wide-angle lens with f/1.7 aperture, paired with a 10.5MP ultra-wide lens offering a 127-degree field of view, and a 10.8MP telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom. Both optical and electronic image stabilization are available for steady shots.
For selfies, the device includes two 10MP cameras—one on the outer display and another inside the fold. Video capabilities are equally impressive, supporting 4K recording at 60fps, along with HDR10+, Video Boost, slow-motion, and the handy Audio Magic Eraser feature.
Battery life looks solid with a 5,015mAh cell. It supports 30W fast charging that can reach 50% in just 30 minutes, and 15W wireless charging with Qi2 certification. An Extreme Battery Saver mode can stretch usage up to 72 hours.
Launch and Availability
The Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold will officially debut on August 20, though shipments may not begin until October. With its upgraded hardware, advanced AI tools, and strong durability, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold is shaping up to be a serious contender in the foldable market.
