Last year in August, Snap, the parent company of Snapchat, reduced its workforce by 20%, letting go of over 6,400 employees. In May of this year, LinkedIn, owned by Microsoft, cut 700 jobs.
After Musk’s takeover last year, Twitter initiated job cuts, resulting in a reduced headcount of 2,000 staff, down from the previous 7,500.
